Boosters is pleased to again offer tackle Football
this Fall. This is our fifth year, with over 200 boys
participating in our program last year. We continue
to enhance and change the program as we continue to
grow. Our program is designed to be an intramural
program focused on the basics of football. While we
do not have a strict weight limit, we reserve the
right to move up a player to a different age bracket
based on size and ability. All games in all divisions
will be played at Cuccia-Byrnes on the Larry Gilbert
Field. Again this year, we will offer a 6/7/8, a 9/10
and a 11/12 age division. Age division is determined
by your child’s age on July 31, 2011, except
for the 11/12 year old division. The 11/12 year old
division uses 12/31/2010 as the cut off, so any boy
who was 12 on 12/31/2010 is eligible to play in the
league, even if he has turned 13 since then.
All equipment, including helmet, mouth guard, shoulder pads and pants with pads, must be provided by the participant. We have contacted Grundmann’s sporting goods and they will help you out with fitting and proper equipment if you need help.
